Tommy Gainey is a professional golfer from the United States. He was born on August 13, 1975, in Darlington, South Carolina. Gainey turned professional in 1997 and initially played on the mini-tours before earning his PGA Tour card in 2008.
Gainey is known for his unorthodox swing and nickname "Two Gloves" due to his habit of wearing gloves on both hands while playing. He won his first PGA Tour event at the 2012 McGladrey Classic and has competed in numerous other tournaments on the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour.
In addition to his professional golf career, Gainey is also involved in charitable work in his community and has a passion for giving back through his Tommy Gainey Foundation.
